"Post Office Activities"
David Slivka was the sculptor of the 1937 limestone bas-relief on the east end of the entrance porch to the Berkeley Main Post Office. The center figure in back is holding a package addressed: "From: D.S. To: All Mankind, Truth Abode on Freedom Road." Slivka used his mentor, Ralph Stackpole, as the model for the foreground center figure who is stooping to pick up a mail sack.
